iphone wont turn on

sorry for my bad english...

i have problem... goes like this... i dont know the version iOS or baseband anything about the iphone...

i reset all settings on my phone, and then all i have is black screen and apple logo... then i press sleep and home button for 10 sec, after that just home button and itunes recognizes phone... i click restore and then restore and update... itunes start downloading something... It takes a few minutes....the very end, iphone just turn off.... I can not do anything with phone.. plesae help
