    Default Iphone 3gs will only charge on side

    Hi guys, I plugged my phone in via usb to my pc to charge as I have lost the mains plug and usually it will charge, but this week it won't charge unless it is on it's side and even then if I touch the phone or charger it stops charging. I went and bought a brand new mains plug and usb cable but it won't charge the phone at all!

    Is it something loose in the phone or could it be the battery?

    sounds like it's on the inside, especially since it requires being positional to charge.
