iPhone 3GS stuck at "Connecting to iTunes"

I have restored it with iTunes (I had to use TinyUbrella in order to be able to restore it).
Phone got restored and iTunes tells me this when I connect the phone to the computer: http://i48.tinypic.com/2ugmhau.png

I'm able to change language and country, I can also make emergency calls, I'm stuck here: http://i45.tinypic.com/332m8lf.jpg

Does this mean that the phone's hardware is just fine and it's a software problem?

Try a different computer with iTunes. Once phone is up and running, go back to original to restore settings.

Are you saying that I should install iTunes on another computer and restore the phone from that computer. When the phone is restored I should go back to my first (this) computer and restore the phone again?

Why do I have to use TinyUmbrella in order to be able to restore the phone with iTunes? I just bought this phone from eBay.

Anyway I just installed iTunes on another computer and connected my phone. I got the exactly same error as before: http://i48.tinypic.com/2ugmhau.png

I would also like to add that I can't turn off the phone. Nothing happens when I press the power button, I can't even put it in DFU mode, which I could before.

Oh that's sad. I don't think that reset (pressing power and home button at the same time) would work with this problem. You better go to your iPhone provider for them to fix this.
