Can I get 3G on t-mobile yet?

I got my friends old iphone and I want to go to t-mobile. I saw online that t-mobile didn't use the right frequency for the iPhone to run 3G, I also saw that they were starting to get iPhone 3G in some places because of their 4g network going up. I was wondering if they had their iPhone 3G network fully up yet or not. If not then is there anyone with t-mobile in northern Indiana (near the Great Lakes by south bend) has 3G yet with an iPhone 3GS.

It's not fully rolled out yet. T-Mobile is rolling out 3G and 4G now, but at least in Phoenix, it's still EDGE, according to my son-in-law.
