Does google+ hangout work on 3gs?

I do not get the option for hangout in the google+ app on my iphone 3gs. I did install the latest version of the app. I heard it works on iphone 4.

It?s working in iPhone 3gs with iOS 5.0, but iPhone 3gs don?t have and front camera you can?t see face of opposite person.

Well, it works but is not as it should be, I mean as the brother mentioned above, so it means overall, the answer to your question is negative because of the absence of the camera needed for it!
