Home button won't wake phone

My home button works when I'm using my phone, but it doesn't work to wake the phone up (I have to press the power button & then slide to unlock).
Also, the volume buttons don't work when it's asleep, only when it's on.
Anybody have any suggestions?

Might be a tweak that you have installed that is using the lockscreen settings maybe? Do you have lockinfo installed?
