i have the 16gb iphone 3gs, and did the upgrade. All seams to be well other than i now have a small arrow next to where my power left icon is in the top right hand corner, is that just for show or is there another reason for it ????

does that arrow appear when you're playing music? if so, its indicating that your playing music... its a feature of iOS4...

OR, theres a different arrow that looks like a compass, thats to indicate the GPS is active.

either way they're both icons to indicate the background music or background GPS app..

If it's purple, then it's the location/GPS running
