iPhone 3GS Speedtest - Wifi & 3G

I thought it would be neat if we posted speedtest results on their iPhones. Here's mine. One on WiFi and one on the 3G network.

They are pretty good. The sad part is that often times I get better results on my iPhone than I do on my PC...and it has a DualCore processor. LOL!!!

Vancouver, Fido 3Gcell service, Shaw Cable internet service (high speed option)

Wifi, 3G, Edge results shown.

I will also say that the 3G results were quite variable, the one posted was the best, and some of the 3G tests (done just seconds apart) even approached Edge speeds.

As to Wifi - yes, download is good, upload is much less, typical of a asymmetrical service offered to homes. Only way to get faster upload is to get a business type service.
