Why can't the iPhone 3GS do this?????

I want to send an MMS picture with some audio. I made a voice memo recording, but I can either send the recording, or the picture, but not both in the same MMS message. I hope one of you gurus can figure out a way to do this. I want to send a birthday picture, with the birthday song playing.

No....just a picture...and some sound with it. you know......like all dumb phones can do.

I think I remember doing this with an old Samsung flip phone lol. Apple probably didn't see many people using a feature like this on the iPhone .. Probably thought they'd send a video message or just a picture. But not a picture with a voice over.
