A friend has given me an old iPhone 3G of his and I would like to use this phone on an existing Verizon account I have but apparently my friend's provider was AT&T.
So I am looking at jailbreaking / unlocking this iPhone ( IOS 4.2.1 ) so I can use the phone on the Verizon network --- but would like to know beforehand if this will even work ?
