IPhone 3G camera not working!

Hi,
Sorry that my first post is about problems.
I am having problems with my camera.
My IPhone 3G camera not working! The shutter will not open & phone restarts when I hit the camera apps.

Restore it. Plug it into iTunes and hit restore.

Will try. After that would I have to unlock / Jailbreak again?

Oh. Yeah if you update it, you will lose the unlock and currently there isn't a way to unlock it using the latest version.

i have had the same problem for ages and tried loads of things... saw somewhere that shaking it worked, tried that and.... it worked.

I have this same issue on my iPhone 3G. I haven't given it much thought as I don't really use it. I use my iPhone 4. But I'd like to solve this too.

First you flash out your data and restart your iPhone, you completely wipe the software from your iPhone but if it is still not working then there is a possibility that there is a problem in your camera hardware.
