I just got $105.50 for my iPhone 3G 16MB!
Yesterday I pulled the trigger and purchased the iPhone 4 (which I love BTW). Saw in the local paper that Target buys old iPhones! So with the money I got from Target (in the form of a gift card), my iPhone only cost me $95 (plus sales tax and that $18 upgrade fee).
Target uses this company nextworth.com. You can get a quote for your phone at their website (NextWorth: Buy and Sell Electronics, Sell iPhone and Video Games, Recycle your gadgets - NextWorth.com) If you donít want a Target card, you can go through nextworth and get paid via pay pal.
I'm sure I could have gotten more on Craigslist, but its done and I don't have to deal with it anymore.
Just wanted to pass this along.

It was in pretty good shape. It always was in a case and I used screen protectors. There were minor scratches on it. The guy basically went through the questions at that nextworth web site. The questions were:
-Cracked Display (no)
-Did wifi work? (yes)
-Dead spots on display (no)
-Fully functional (yes)
-Audio jack functional (yes)
-Working battery (yes)
He never checked the audio jack, but he did look at the display etc.
