Why won't my iPad update?

my ipad wont update

im trying to update my ipad mc769ll/a to 9.3 it says i dont have an internet connection but i do because everything else works so i tried updating it thru itunes and itunes says i have the latest version of 9.2.1 please help

Welcome to iMore! Are you positively sure that your iPad and whatever computer your using iTunes with is connected to the Internet? You're able to navigate to web sites and check your email, right?
If so, the first thing you should try is resetting your device by holding the power button and home button down simultaneously until you see the Apple boot logo.
If that doesn't work, make sure you have a fresh iTunes/iCloud backup of your device, boot into recovery mode, and restore using iTunes. This should push iOS 9.3 to your device.
