Keyboard case for Smaller iPad Pro

Do we think the keyboard case for the small iPad Pro could work with the iPad Air 2? I am debating if I should wait to buy a keyboard case for my iPad Air 2. If Apple releases the small iPad Pro, which I am thinking will be the same form factor as the iPad Air 2, I should wait and see what the keyboard case looks like. But, will it be the same quality and usability as some of the third party makers? How is the keyboard case for the current iPad Pro compared to third party products?

I don't think it will work with the Air 2. It uses a smart connector to connect with the iPad, in which the Air 2 does not have.

I much prefer Belkin or Logitech keyboards for the iPad, plus their keyboards offer backlit
