My I-pad is locked up. It wants my code to unlock it. I don't know it. I need help.

I have no idea what code the I-pad is asking for nor do I know where or how to find this code. That's pretty basic as to the problem.

Welcome to iMore! If you've forgotten your passcode you're going to have to erase your iPad and restore. Hopefully you have a recent backup. Follow the link for instructions.
