Welcome to iMore! As @Just_Me_D stated, you kind of answered your own question. The biggest advantage of a cellular iPad is obviously the ability to access the Internet without wifi. Aside from that there's no difference between the cellular and wifi models.

I actually added my iPad to my cellular plan, so I share my data between my iPhone and my iPad. It only costs an additional 10 dollars to my bill minus taxes.
