What the easiest way to launch a website from my iPad's home screen?

i am looking for a way to launch a website from my ipad's desktop, but i want it to be launched on a browser without the address bar and controls (same way google chrome does using tools>create application shortcuts on windows.)

what is the easiest way to do this?

You can bookmark a page to the screen, like using and app.
Little box at top of screen with arrow.

Yeah exactly, open a page, tap the actions icon and save it on the home screen.
