Corporate iPad locked with former employee's iCloud - How can we fix that?

An employee left and returned all her IT equipment including her iPad, however; she has setup her iCloud to find her iPad should it be lost etc... As my staff is preparing to redeploy the iPad to a new employee they cannot reload the iOS because the device is associated with the former employee's iCloud account.

Is there a way around this?

Thanks,

- Bob

No. It is a safety measure to curtail theft. The former employee will have to provide you with her iCloud credentials or she has to logon to her iCloud account and then wipe the device to remove the activation lock. There is NO OTHER WAY!
