Which iPad should I buy

I never had an iPad before.
Which one should I get?

Before wondering which iPad to buy, see what do you actually need from an iPad?

Default answer would be 9.7" iPad Pro, it's the best all rounder.

If price is a major factor, go iPad Air 2.

If you want a bigger screen, to be more like a laptop go the 12.9"

First of all you need to see your needs! Why you need an iPad? Then you see which size is best for you.
But for people that just need the basics the iPad Air 2/ iPad Pro 9.7 is the choice. Don't buy the mini version.

I had the Air 1, the Air 2 and now the Pro 9.7. I've had the Pro for a month now and I am giddy at how much I enjoy using it. With my Air 1 and 2, I was doing a lot of work in the back country which required lots of pics and video, being able to create documents, edit stuff, share etc, and I never had issues.
Now I am working less, playing more and traveling a lot, and my baby pro has become my main computer.
My man and I are in the process of remodeling our home and are making plans to remodel another and I can draw sketches and plans of everything we want to do, room by room.
I can plan hikes by drawing on maps on screen, I love to do that.
And because I'm always on the go and it's my main computer, I chose 256 GB cellular + wifi, so I feel virtually limitless with this baby.
Can't say enough good things about it, all pros, zero cons.
