I keep mine on my night stand next to my iPad Pro.

Most of the time during transport, I put the Pencil inside my center console in my car or in a carrying bag that also contains my iPad Pro.

This is one thing i was surprised about. Apple should have included something which allowed to to store your  Pencil while moving. (Transport) at least with Microsoft they had a Magnet on the side to hold (which isn't super sturdy) but at least its something. At the moment, its kept in my Pencil casem with my rubber, ruler ect LOL
