I did this in the Apple Store app on the iPad pro.

Well I did not check the entire world today, but some stores in the U.S. Did receive shipments. The Saddle Creek store was showing available for pickup today and when I ordered one it changed to unavailable, so the supply must be very limited at the stores that got shipments.

As far as I can tell it is only available for the iPad. It works on my iPad Air as well if you have access to one of those.

Got mine today.. Ordered through Verizon on 1/14 got it today 1/18... Best Buy couldn't even order it and Apple said 2-3 weeks

I just ordered the apple pencil on Verizon's site and paid for next day shipping so Thursday it should be here. Verizon is not my cell phone carrier either but you can still buy accessories from there. So hopefully I have it Thursday.

If you are in Orlando, Florida, you are in luck today. The Florida Mall Apple Store is the only one in the US that has the Apple Pencil in stock for pickup.

I just ordered mine today!! Picking up tomorrow!! Looks like they are slowly getting to the stores.
I am picking mine up at the Valley Plaza store in Bakersfield, CA. This store has been getting quite a few. I live an hour away but I am willing to make the drive instead of paying a ridiculous amount for one on eBay.
