How long is the iPad Pro supposed to charge to reach a full battery?

What is the average time for the iPad Pro to charge to reach full battery right out of the box? And do I have to wait for it to fully charge before using it?

Not sure on the charge time. I only charge mine over night so not sure how long it takes. I'm sure it takes awhile since the battery is huge. You do not need to wait until its fully charged to use it. Not like the old days.

In case you wanted to closely monitor the battery (cycle count, actual charge status, etc.) you might want to download an app such as cocnutBattery. First, once you have charged plug the device in and the app will tell you exactly where you are in the charging department, so to speak. Based on that you could estimate the total time until the device is fully charged. On a side note, the battery is indeed huge - 10,000 mAh.
