Why doesn't slingbox work well with iPad pro

Slingbox on my iPad pro doesn't work very well. Picture quality/resolution is poor, often almost totally blurry. My internet speeds are 50mb down and 6mb up. Picture is great on my iPad Air. I returned the iPad pro thinking maybe it was a wifi problem, however, the same poor resolution occurs on the new iPad pro. Would be curious to see if anyone else experiencing same problem and how you resolved it.

Maybe app needs updated for the bigger screen on the pro

Mine works well. No problems I can see.
