I could almost swear that there has been a post @iMore about some of the cases ALSO mentioning one inexpensive screen protector. Cannot seem to find it anymore. Has anyone seen it?

Thanks.

Im kinda bummed that Apple isn't doing a Leather Smart Case for the pro. You'd think if they are toting this as a pro device that they would want leather as an option. I guess they want to drive people towards the overpriced keyboard cover.

I picked up one ar Best Buy by Modal, I would not recommend it. It's cheap, $50, but doesn't work real well. I really don't like cases, but I always opt for one. This is an expensive device, and it's important to protect it. I traded up for my iPad 3 to this one, skipping over the Airs. It's early, I'll probably go through a couple of types.

I am using the Logitech Create Keyboard. I like it..... a lot.

It gives the Pro a great laptop-like experience. I don't have Apple's keyboard to compare, but based on the videos and pictures I have seen.... I don't think Apple's offering is comparable. And that's OK, if you are more of a minimalist.

The shortcut keys, backlighting, smart connect...... all add up to a stellar product.

I had the white Smart Cover and just couldn't stick with it.. Just picked up this Logitech Create Case (the non-keyboard model that seems to not nearly getting enough attention!). $80 USD, so a bit pricey, but seems really well built! And I plan on using the Apple bluetooth keyboard anyone when I need one, so this feels like a great choice. They had it in stock at my local Best Buy.

Looking forward to the CoverBuddy by SwitchEasy. I've bought cases from them for most of my iDevices and they've all been pretty well thought out designs. I like that it has a holder for  Pencil that can be removed and will also tilt the iPad Pro up slightly for drawing. It will also work with the Smart Keyboard that I already have.

I'm using the silicone case from Apple for now and it works well. I'll most likely switch between the two.

I have recently purchased this case for my iPad Pro from Amazon.

It shows a lot of promise and when I get it, I will write a review for you all, but I thought it would be worth mentioning, as it is very stylish!

I finally bit the bullet and upgraded my iPad 3 to a new iPad Pro.

I've skipped the Air series and haven't upgraded before this for one simple reason. Nobody is making a portrait easel case anymore. I've have, and loved my Marware Eco-Flip for my original iPad and then an updated version for my iPad 3.

Since then I have never been able to find a portrait mode case other than the bulky 360 degree easel cases.

The iPad Pro screams out for a less bulky snap in version of something like the portrait Eco-Flip case.

For now I'm going to go naked with some egrips on the back, but I really hope some vendor sees the light and realizes portrait mode is a real thing.

I have the Logitech Create keyboard, which I really like...when I'm working. Most of the time, though I prefer my iPad Pro bare. What I really want, though is a Smart Cover, with no back. But I absolutely hate the lack of color in the official Apple ones. Has anyone seen a 3rd party Smart Cover only? Without a back? I've been looking and can't find one...

I've always loved the Smart Covers. So, I went ahead and got the gray Smart Cover for my incoming iPad Pro (Space Gray/Black, 128GB) from Verizon. I ordered it back on 11/19 and it's supposed to ship by 12/11. So, I"m looking for a nice back case for the Pro that will accommodate my Smart Cover. Any suggestions?

This one looks really awesome:

However, it's not compatible with the Smart Cover. They are supposed to be releasing one with a cutout soon, which I expected to be out by now. So, that's a no go for the time being.

I have the logi create case without the keyboard. It's really slim and I love the feel of it. But, my goodness it is difficult to get the ipad out of it. If you're not carefull it looks like the plastic tabs that hold the ipad in will bend the metal sides where the glass and the metal starts. It makes me a little nervous. I don't think I'll be taking the ipad out a lot but still. I bought the case because it was the only case I could find that somewhat mimiked the surface pro 3 kickstand that I came from.

I picked up this case on eBay for 9.99. The fit is perfect, just a tad bit thicker than the smart case I have on my iPad Air, it comes in about ten colors.
