Is your home button completely flush with the screen? Mines feels a bit raised and if you gently put your finger on it and slide your finger up and down over the home button it feels like a scale tipping down and up. Is this normal? - that it's quite a soft/not balanced click.

Mine is slightly raised unlike my i5. Doesn't bother me. It works fine. It's a harder click then my i5 too.

Yeah home buttons will very. I played with a few minis. They all have varied slightly. As long it works fine, that's all that matter.
