I just ordered a mini from Apple because I got tired of stalking all of the retail stores around here to get what I wanted. I was just wondering if anyone had ordered lately and can say how long it took. They claim by Dec. 14th. I'd love for it to be earlier, so I'm just wondering experiences.

wow that really sucks. my local Best Buy had almost all models in stock. seems there's a run on 16gb units in my area.

If you have a Apple store in your area, check inventory online at 10pm. That's how I scored my AT&T model.

Yeah, they have all been white and 64gb for the most part. No black ones and no 16gb at all. I've checked Walmart, Sam's, Target, Best Buy, and Radio Shack. No dice anywhere.

i bought mine yesterday and i paid 6 dollars for 2-3 business and estimated delivery was dec 13 but if you call you can expedite it next day for free and now my est delivery is dec 10 just call, apple is the best

If I lived close to an Apple store I'd definitely go that route. I'm really hoping I get it a little quicker than December 14th.

Well is was quoted for the 20th it said the 15th them got a email saying it was delayed .. They got on 19th my was engraved thou so you might get it faster

Yeah. I really wish the local stores had the black one in. They all had the 32gb white, but I wanted the 32gb black. I got so tempted to buy the white but I just have some weird aversion to white electronics.

Haha. Don't know if they're open now. It's 10:55 local time. Think even on Black Friday they're closed now. Don't think my wife would let me ditch her and our newborn at this time of night either.

Touché keep the peace first ... My wife just has learned to know how I am she knows how determined I can get lol but my kids are not a newborn anymore but if they were I don't think I would try it either lol

And my wife knows how I am, too, she usually lets me just go. But having a 3.5 week old baby, didn't think it was kosher to leave her hanging at 11pm.

3.5 weeks wow congrats my youngest is 2 now and oldest is 6 .. Hey compromise if its during the day take the baby with you .. Wife happy you happy lol

Thanks! We've got the 3.5 week old and a 10 year old. So the house is little nuts right now. I'm sure my wife wouldn't mind a little extra sleep - but man if she got hungry she'd just have to deal with it because dad can't feed her!

Ya dont think that would work too well lol tell them they better make sure it's in stock on hold for you so you can go in and out unless they want a hungry screaming baby lol
