Which size Apps or Games do you Get for iPad Mini(HD or Normal)?

My daughter bought the iPad Mini for herself and wants to purchase games and apps. She also got gifted iTunes cards. What size games will work. The all for one or iPad only. There are games made for iPad only (HD) versions. Will those work for the the iPad Mini? It does look like you could purchase the HD games on the Mini. Does that mean they will work and fit right?

Anything that is for the iPad will be fine as well as anything that is universal--that is it has the + with the price.

It will also run iPhone only apps but they will run in an iPhone sized box or you can run them 2X which doesn't look that great.

Thanks. My daughter just downloaded an iPad HD game for iPad only and it actually looks great on the mini. We also have an iPad 3 and the game looks very close on the mini that it does on the iPad 3.
