Insurance testers - iPad Mini most fragile iDevice. Thoughts?

Apparently, the Air is more robust than the Mini, but still not as solid as the 5s.

How does that compare with your personal experiences?

If you keep it in even the most minimal of cases it should be fine. Now, if you don't think its worth even keeping in a case to protect it. ...well then....

I have to agree... I have had my PlayBook for years 3 or 4 something like that 60% of the time i had it without a case. The things been dropped in the Qualcomm stadium its been dropped face first numerous times, the sides have all dings and dents, the soft touch layer is pealing. I highly doubt that this iPad will last more than a year. I got it week two of release and for about 6 weeks of that its been in a case and the rest of the time its been naked. Those chamfered edges? yeah they didn't last and the glass feels weaker than PlayBook's does but maybe because the screen is bigger that it feels that way
