Default what does it take to scratch the screen?

Could having rough skin on your finger scratch the screen? This is my first time using an iDevice without protection. I'm still trying to find a decent case I like, contemplating ghost armoring it. Any input would be great

The iPhone retina display is pretty tough. I never encase my iPhones and although my iPhone 5 has a few war wounds, the display is basically unscathed. Having said that, it will take more than rough skin on your finger to scratch it, in my opinion.

No matter how rough your skin gets, it won't ever be a harder material than glass. That's why it won't scratch it.

The worst thing you can do to it is smudge the screen with your fingers usually after eating a bucket of greasy chicken 😬

I don't think rough skin on your finger will scratch the screen. That'd be some kind of rough skin!

I've taken keys to my Apple products' screens and literally try to scratch them to no avail. Except my MacBook.
