Print Size

Does the standard print size get smaller because of the larger resolution.
In other words, will an ipad air have larger standard print for an app like MSN home page than the ipad rmini or will the print size be the same and just show less on the screen and will the older ipad mini have larger print also?

I tried search but have not found this discussed.

Unless I'm mistaken and understand you correctly, the size of the print on the screen will be smaller, but what you see on the screen should be the same.

The resolution is the same (2048 x 1536), but on the Mini, that same resolution is displayed on a smaller screen (smaller by 1.8" diagonally), meaning that the pixels are closer together ("more retina") than on the iPad Air screen. Yes, they will be smaller.
