Question Pages and Keynote with Dropbox?

I'm considering purchasing Pages and Keynote, but I've read that they don't play nice-nice with Dropbox. Is that true? Have people had success with creating and syncing their documents with Dropbox using iWorks apps?

Are you making the docs on the iPad or the Mac?

I'm making them on the iPad - thanks for reminding me to clarify that!

I'd recommend trying CloudOn first. It works great with Dropbox and simulates Word / Excel surprisingly well.

Yeah, I've been using CloudOn for a little while, and it works pretty well but is a little "quirky" (and lags) at times. Hopefully the app developers will iron out the kinks and make it more of a mobile app as opposed to "desktop on an iPad." I'll definitely keep it - and probably give Pages a shot.
