Why can't I delete a blank page on my iPad Air?

Can't delete a blank page on my I pad air

I have a blank page with just the time on it and I can't get rid of it.

Assuming you're talking about your home screen. What happens when you press your home button? You may be in app removal mode (where your apps "wiggle" and can be deleted. Pressing the home button should stop this and get rid of the currently blank page.

Try a hard reset.Hold the top power/sleep button and the home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears, then release.

iOS 8 allows your FIRST screen of apps to be blank. Put your device in "wiggle" mode (tap and hold on an icon until they all start to "wiggle") and drag something from another page onto that page. You may need to manually rearrange stuff to get it to your liking.

OR restore the device's icon layout to "factory" settings by going to:

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout

This will put all of the stock icons back in the order and location that they were when you took your new device out of the box for the first time. OTHER ICONS/APPS WILL BE REARRANGED TO AVAILABLE SPACE, BUT WILL NOT BE DELETED.
