Is cellular data via an iPad Air cellular model calculated the same as via an iPhone?

So I just bought a iPad Air cellular edition and my questions is if I was to just use facebook or safari just to browse the Internet no video watching just pictures and the page loading would it use the same amount of data my iPhone would use if I were to browse or would it use more?

It could possibly use more data than an iPhone. It depends on if the websites you visit show the iPad the mobile or desktop version of the site. Desktop versions are often more data heavy.

But don't the iPads and iPhones pull up the mobile versions if avilable before the full site?

That's up to the website not the device. They can detect the dimensions of the device and decide which version to show. A lot of sites will show the mobile site to annular, but not all.

Damn i am tempted to use my new iPad Air on cellular but just playing on apps but worried to go over my data lol
