Calling and SMS facility - Is it available for any phone . Presently I am having a iPad Air cellular 32 GB and a MTNL Sim . What I would like to know is that can I call any number from my iPad Air

Keep in mind that the iPad is a tablet not a phone, BUT you CAN make calls from your ipad (even if it's wifi only), using third party apps like google voice, Skype, magicjack, text me etc that makes it very easy. Some of those allow you to place calls to US and Canada for free, others require credits to place the calls, and most to the times the prices are very low.

Thank you Sir , I was under the impression that with ios8 upgradation calling facility will be made available .
