Staying up to order iPad Air?

I ordered online at 310 am this morning. I'm considering going to an Apple store today to see if they have the one I want and then canceling my online order.

Ordered at 12:03am, woke up to find out that the credit card flagged it at 1am as a possibly fraudulent charge and froze the card... For some reason, looks like the Apple store tried to charge it twice with different amounts? Sigh...

Had a late night of Halloween fun. Slept in until about 7 and ordered at 7:05 with no problems. I will pick it up at the Apple store in a few hours. No hurry. Doesnt seem like there is any mad dash to get one of these.

I ended up going to the Apple Store and found that there was no line and lots of new iPad Airs. I cancelled my order from my iPhone and then purchased a new 64 G iPad Air at the store. I couldn't be happier.

Yeah, no line when I went in to pick mine up (after lunch though). Hope this doesn't mean they're going to cancel the whole "order online/guaranteed pickup in store" deal in order to get the lines and publicity in the future...

Got my iPad Air today! The in store experience was less than great but I have my iPad and Smart Cover. I'm happy.

I just checked - was thinking of ordering... Still saying ships in 24 hrs and delivery date given of Nov 8
