I posted this in a comment but it got deleted. Not sure why. maybe i'll put it here in the forums.

i saw this today on the front page of youtube. Apparently they are leaked shells for an ipad 5 and a new mini. the new 5 has new speaker grills, volume rockers, looks thinner and narrower with a smaller bezel. Anyways thought people would be interested. It looks legit though i'm not exactly knowledgeable in spotting a fake.

I sure wish there was some indication as to when they'll be releasing the 5! My wife has a 1 and I have a 2. Ready to upgrade now but we're trying to be patient and hold out for the 5.

I do wonder too. But I"m in no rush as i have to fix my car and pay down some debt anyways. but i'm interested in the what happens in the tablet space none the less.

If they have parts i have to wonder if they are trying to get it out before xmas to take advantage of huge xmas present sales season.
