Have to turn off iPad to get videos playing again?

I have had this problem for a while now and wondering if there is a way I can possibly fix it or do I have to take it in? Sorry if this has been answered before I may have missed the post.

Hi. Could you include a little more information about your issue? Where are you watching videos from (Videos app, Hulu, YouTube, some other app?). Are you watching videos via Wi-Fi or cellular? Without additional information, my first thought is that your storage might be maxed out. Check Settings > General > Storage and iCloud usage > and see how much storage you are using on your iPad (not in iCloud). If you only have a few hundred mbs available, you might want to remove some of the storage hogs (like videos you've watched already, podcasts you've already listened to, old messages you don't need any more).
