ipad split screen multitasking..Compatible apps

On my iPad only a few (8-10) apps are shown when I pull the side screen. I have about 75 apps installed. Why can't I see more apps?

You're going to have to clear the whole thing and start over - get instructions on a search of ipad reinstall.

Not all apps are compatible. Talk to the app maker to add support.

Split screen multitasking was introduced in iOS 9 so shouldn't most apps been updated to be compatible by now? It has been over a year...Anyways thanks guys for the replies..

Not all apps have a tablet version and for some app that have a tablet version they have not been updated to support split views, most notable gmail.

You would think so. That is up to the app maker, though. I use slide over for example, and find it a shame that TuneIn Radio doesn't support it, while other audio apps like SoundCloud, VOX and others do.
