I have an Iphone 6 with 64gb and an Ipad Air 2 with 16 gb.

I can obviously store a lot more photos on the iPhone. At the moment, if I delete a photo off the iPad - it also deletes off the iPhone. I'm sure that this can be changed but I don't know how. Also, if and when I get this problem solved, can I still Airdrop specific photos from my Iphone to the iPad?
