how do I soft restart my i pad air2

I was using Google maps and looking up a resort area and it flipped over to My husbands face book site. He does have icloud on his microsoft 10 computer. but now my Ipad air 2 when I go to my icloud email give me 7 options to open. does this have something to do with icloud. and how do i reset it to open my icloud email automatically

Resetting the iPad is easy, just hold the power and home buttons for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo, then let go.

I'm not quite sure what the rest of your question is though, if you can try rephrasing it? Are you saying your email is not opening but your husband's is?
