How do I shrink the icon and text size so that nothing scrolls off the screen?

I bought a new iPad Air 2 and in the settings section I used the Zoom slider to increase icon and text size. But the icons are now too big to fit on the screen and I cannot access the section of Settings that would let me return the icon and text size to the factory default. Can anyone give me instructions for returning the text and icon size to what it was when I first turned the iPad on?

I have a simple but complex solution, simple because you would just have to perform a Hard Reset to regain the previous settings, and complex because all your data would wipe off, so you would have to create a backup regarding that.

Welcome to iMore! Before going through a hard reset, can you get to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings? That may fix your problem. If I remember correctly, you have to scroll with three fingers.
