How can I recover the settings icon?

Recover the Settings icon.

I have the iPad fourth generation. I would like to have the "Settings" icon on my home screen. I previously had it there and then it disappeared! I can still access it on the Spotlight screen. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Search your home screens and folders for the Settings app and then drag it to where you want it to be displayed. If the app it indeed missing, you can try resetting the all settings to get it to return or restore your device.
