Question Can books in iBooks be transfered to a Kobo reader?

I have a friend who wants to do this and ofcourse asked me if he could. I don't know off hand and looking so far I'm guessing no but I thought I would ask the geniuses in the forums. So is it possible? I know there is a Kobo app for the iPad but beyond that I don't know if there is any way to get the books onto the Kobo.

    Thanks,

No way that I am aware of... and that doesn’t even include the discussion of DRM.

If its an unprotected ePub, then you should be able to mail it to yourself (from a PC) and then select kobo from the "Open in" menu-assuming that kobo registered with the system to be a destination for ePub files.
