Do you get hotspot tethering with the Verizon Wireless iPad? I noticed in the Verizon store that the iPad 3 had a hotspot option under cellular and I am wondering if this allows you to use the iPad as a hotspot even if you are on a pay-as-you-go plan or month to month plan. I don't have nor do I want to get a Verizon phone or other plan but it would save using my pre-Paid mifi at times when I need data and I am unable to use my AT&T due to location, etc.

Yes. You can tether with the iPad pay as you go plans.

Yes I confirm what Karen said. I'm on pay as you go on my Vzn iPad and it offers tethering.
