Which tasks cannot be settled with iPad?-imageuploadedbytapatalk-21358925157.241649.jpg

There are many discussions whether iPad may kick off PCs. Do we still need a PC?

Please list all USUAL tasks where iPad needs the help of a big brother.

Thanks in advance to all members of this awesome forum.

    Multiple windows
    True multitasking
    Drag/drop
    Adding files to email
    Saving files from email
    Uploading files to most websites

...in other words, the kinds of things you would use at work.

    Thanks for your reply, Alli.
There are some apps to solve the problems with E-Mail attachments. But this MUST be fixed by Apple in iOS 7 or earlier. I think the main point is the problem with uploading files. It is possible for photos from the camera roll but not for other file types. That's truly an important disadvantage.

Of course, the iPad was never meant to replace a computer. Why do you insist on using it that way?

I find I can do virtually anything at work that I need to on my iPad. I often spend the entire day away from the desk and don't feel like lugging a laptop everywhere with me.
That being said, if I were sitting at my desk, I wouldn't choose my iPad over my desktop for the majority of tasks. It's usable, just not ideal.
