Dropped my ipad 3 from 3ft onto stone tile :(
On its corner too. Dented it pretty good. It wears a clear plastic back snap on smartcover companion. Took the drop like a champ tho. No shattered glass and fully functional. The cover didn't make it tho. Still not bad for a $10 piece. Pics to come.

Glad it survived but a piece of me would still die just from looking at that dent

Yeah me too. The case and keyboard lid too 99% of the damage.
