I was shooting some Retina display tests for the front page, trying out different apps and seeing not only what the different looked like, but what it felt like,
I launched iBooks and the free Avengers comic downloaded immediately.
And WOW. It was Retina. I rotated to portrait and zoomed in just to make sure, then broke out the macro lens to make double sure, and yup! Them pixels were twice is dense. It's like the leap from pulp to Baxter, to put it in comic geek terms.

It's gotten to the point where I'm having trouble going back to the iPad 2...
