Default If I have Iphoto for Ipad, do I need Photo?

Is it redundant to have the standard Photo app on the Ipad, if I bought the Iphoto app? I'm thinking I don't need Photo anymore.

    Your thoughts are appreciated...

    Thanks!

You can't get rid of the stock apps like Photo, so it really doesn't matter if you feel you need it or not.

But you still need it if you want to show off your photos. The Photo app is a gallery app. It'll let you see your photos full screen and also view them in a slide show. The iPhoto app is for editing photos.

If you don't want any of the "Stock" applications, just created an unused folder and put it on a back unused iPad page.
