Just wondering if anyone has heard if the Unlimited plans will carry over to the 4g plans? I have my sim card from my iPad 2 and looking to see if I have to sign up for a new plan/. Anyone got any details?

I don't know why it would. LTE is a separate plan. I wonder if your 3G sim will just keep it in 3G mode? I know that on android phones you have to have the LTE sim and plan for it to function.

I called AT&T before I ordered my iPad,yesterday and was told it would be honored for the 4g.I'll still believe it when I see it.

Not many people are on the unlimited for iPad so maybe At&t will leave those users alone and let them keep it without throttling. It was a different story on iPhone with millions and millions of users still on unlimited.

On Verizon, if you had unlimited 3G you were grandfathered into unlimited LTE. Not sure about AT&T though

They'll probably hold the same policy they've just released for the unlimited iPhone plans. You're unlimited up to 3GB, and then you're throttled.
