So right now, there are 3 iPad 2 models: 2,1; 2,2; and 2,3. Those are Wi-Fi, GSM/AT&T, and CDMA/Verizon
There should be (according to strings found in the OS), 3 iPad 3 models, 3,1; 3,2; 3,3
Apple doesn't need separate SKUs for GSM and CDMA anymore, because like with the iPhone 4S, they can do all that in 1 chip. So we have Wi-Fi and CDMA/GSM 3G, and that leaves room for an LTE SKU
But, one LTE model probably can't handle all the 4G segments internationally, so does Apple only make LTE available in North America?
Or could they do Wi-Fi, GSM+CDMA+LTE North America, GSM+LTE International as the 3 SKUs?
LTE sounds like it's good to go, be interesting to see how it gets here.
